6 Month Post-Op Check Up

Today I went to my 6 month post-op check up and I'm happy to say that everything was great! My weight loss was above average, to date I have lost a total of 172 lbs. My bloodwork was perfect and Dr. Giovanni was very happy with my progress this far. We talked about my goal weight and agreed that 200 lbs is a great goal. That leaves me 60 more lbs to lose. I'll be happy when I get there, but would LOVE to get to 180!

I have been having a little tenderness in the area of my largest incision and I asked Dr. Giovanni about it today, she said it could either be a neuroma which is the nerve acting up or the start of a small hernia. She didnt feel anything in the area and said not to worry about it now.

I go back in 3 months and I am very happy with my progress so far! I really appreciate all the support that I get from all of you at the meetings and on the board! It really really makes all the difference in my success!
