RI Meeting

I am looking for support group meetings in RI. I know about the one at RW.  Anyone know of anywhere else? Thanks, Amy

Hello Amy, I know that there is a support group that will be meeting on the 27th at Miriam Hospital...I think it is at 6:00. I will be going to that one...I am early in WLS stages...nice to meet you!!  -Rob

Hi Amy and Rob, I go to all three support group meetings around here. I'll be at the one at Miriam. I'll be the one with the pink cane. Please say hello to me! ......... Amy, there is also one at Rhode Island Hospital the fourth Wednesday every month at the Gerry House. Same time. I'll miss that one this month cuz my surgery is June 4th. But I'll see you at the Miriam and RW ones, k? Jules

Hi Julie - Could you please tell me when/where each support group meets?  I went to the WLS seminar at the Miriam Hospital on the 14th, so I know their next  meeting is on 5/27, but I will be on vacation and can't go to that one. So... Miriam Hospital is 4th Tues of the Month?          Rhode Island Hospital is 4th Wed of the Month? When is Roger Williams support group meeting?  And can anybody attend any of these? Vicky- The Roger Williams group meets on the 4th Thursday of the month in Kay Auditorium.  I am told there are signs to follow once you get inside.  I plan to go this week.  It will be my 1st meeting.  If you can make it, look for me I have red/auburn hair.  Amy

RI Hospital meeting is a Gerry House on the FIRST weds of each month.  You can go to lifespan.org, click on support groups and it will give you all the info, including the topics
