Just an FYI, there is a plant sale at the Cumberland Monastery on RT 114 on Sat morning from 9-1.  There will be Master Gardeners on site to answer questions and do soil testing.    I'll be there working, stop by and say HI!!

How cool is that???? I'm a mini-gardener. You know, the one who putts around the house/yard kinda gardener. Just planted eight tomato plants a couple weeks ago with my grandson. He watered himself more than he watered the plants!  I wish I could make it Saturday. I'm the Chairperson of my husband's Army Unit's Family Readiness Group and we have a big meeting on Saturday. I'll probably hit you up for some advice on my yarden (get it? garden..in my yard...yarden?) Ahem. Okay, have a beautiful day in Cumbie! Jules

What you are doing Sat is MUCH more important than a little flower sale.  This will be my second one in as many weeks. Last week I was at the sale at  East Farm by URI.  But every time I go to the Cumberland Monastery, it is drizzly and cold.    And unless it's pouring, gardeners garden...so I am getting used to it.   I actually graduated from the MG class, and have done more than the required 50 hrs of volunteer time, so I am no longer considered an intern, I am actually a "Master Gardener" now  (don't really feel like one yet)...so ask away with your Yardening questions...I will do my best to answer them, or find the answers if I don't know.
