Thanks everyone for helping me get back into the right mindset.  With so much going on I have been a wreck.  I am going to tackle one issue at a time and take it from there.   Today I got my first fill, he put 2 cc's in my 10 cc band.  I am back on full liquids for the next 48 hours and then to soft foods for a day or two.  Hopefully this will give me a bit of restriction. I am also starting to log my food intake.  I knew I was getting my water and protien in (these were my focuses before) but never really knew the whole picture.  Now I will be aware and accountable for it all. I am going for a sonogram of my thyroid, which is swelling.  This can cause my metabolism to slow way down (and also depression- go figure).   I have a couple of other issues, and will address them soon. Again- thanks everyone for the kind words, support, and making me be accountable for my own actions!!  It really means a lot to me

HiYa Beth!! I'm so happy you're feeling better now. If you ever need some company or a few words of praise,,,PM me. I'll drop by and see that you're getting a good dose of laughter every now and then! I hope everything works out with your thyroid. That's certainly nothing to mess with. John thyroid is being radiated as we speak. It's amazing how much the thyroid gland does for us! Wow! First fill, huh? How does it feel? Does it feel tight? Does it feel different than it felt right after surgery? Is it helping with hunger? I know, so many questions, so little....(well, nothing's little yet, but I'll get there). Good to see you have your game face back on! Please let us know how you're doing! Jules
