Mini Goal Monday...final updates and new goal time!
Good Monday morning everyone and a happy belated Mothers day! Yesterday was the end of this mini-goal, how did everyone do??
My goal was to run 5 consecutive minutes at a spped of 5 on my treadmill. I'm sad to say, I did not make this mini-goal. I got myself to 3 and then life interjected itself and I wasnt able to build myself up. So, I'll do better next time!

Also, its time for a new mini-goal, a great time for all the new people here to get involved in the fun and get themselves motivated. Rules are simple. Pick a goal and post it in this thread, then every Monday we all update each other on our progress. Easy isnt it??? So pick something you want to work on, whether its weight, exercise, eating....anything....and make yourself a mini-goal and join in. We promise not to bite. Well...most of us do anyways.
Since our goals normally run 6-8 weeks, I'm going to be a tiny bit selfish on the mini-goal date this time around. 6 weeks from today is June 23, and also the 1 yr anniversary of the day I married the most wonderful man on the planet. I'm going to set our goal date for June 23 this time around and my goal this time is an easy one. Everyone remember my little black polka dot dress from Anne Klein?
For those who dont remember, or werent around. I picked up this adorable little $170 dress for $20 at Anne Klein while shopping with Dawn and Kellie back in march. I was in an 18? at the time, and the dress is a 14 so I thought perhaps this summer and I've been using it for motivation. Every few weeks I pull it out and try it on. Guy (hubby) pulls the zipper up and we see how far we have to go. Last night was one of those nights and its almost there!! Technically, I can get it on, but its still too tight for comfort so I dont want to pu****
My mini-goal this time is to wear this dress on our anniversary! Guy loves it and it would be signifigant for both of us. Of course every Monday I'll post my progress so you'll all know how things are going and on the 23rd...a picture! be it good or bad!

I know I don't post much but I need the motivation. So, here it goes... I really want to do better with my exercise. So my goal is to get to the gym 3-4x per week and ride my bike at least twice per week. I have been kind of slacking lately so I want to get back on the stick. I do have a problem with my left knee and that has caused me to slow down a bit but, as my husband says, NO PAIN NO GAIN. So, wish me luck and good luck to everyone else and there mini-goals.

This will be my first mini-goal with all of you! I am so excited!! My mini-goal is to lose ten pounds by then. I am hoping to have my surgery around the 20th of June so the bulk of my work will need to be done prior to surgery, which is my real goal anyway. So, here goes!! Good luck everyone!

I am going to jump in on this one time, i plan to set a mini goal a while back and its almost here. That was to be at 275 by the time i see Dr. Pohl for my 15 week post opp appt. thursday next week. I was at 288 last wednesday and i weigh in every wed. so i still have 2 weigh ins to go till the appt. I am trying hard to get there but my walking has slowed down due to a blister on my left foot, but its good now and im going back full speed tomorrow to work at the mini goal.
