My 1st Year!

HI Everyone! Hope this post finds everyone doing well! Well, friday is eventful for me. It will be my 1 year anniversary for my RNY. I have been staying steady at my current weight for months now. I feel good and things are going well.  The crappy part is I have surgery scheduled at Kent Hosp. for that same date of 2008.  Sort of weird, but I figured...Hey, it worked out well last year!  LOL Just so I dont gross Donnie out.. I wont go into the details of my "girl stuff" surgery! Im a bit anxious but I think all will be fine. I am healthier thats for sure, so hopefully recovery will be easier for me this time.  Im sure I will be posting once I am home... Im sure I will be bored and looking for stuff to keep busy once I feel better.  My exercise will be limited for 6 weeks.. so I was going to ask them to wire my jaws shut!!  LOL oh well.. I am going to do my best with choices and try to find things to keep me entertained and away from the food cabinet! Feel free to email me anytime.. maybe if my hands are busy typing I wont be tempted to overeat.  OK.. enough about me... hope everyone has a great day and is keeping up all the great work! geez- what a way to celebrate your surgiversary- with another one- lol.  I think hallmark actually recommends cards- not that.  You have done soo well this year and are nearly at your goal- that is amazing! Good luck tomorrow, keep us posted!  (and I do think they have wireless)

Good luck tomorrow!  I had that done 5 years ago and I DON'T miss that damn thing at all!

Just remember to drink lots of water and by a week you should be able to take short walks!

Hi Tammy! Sorry, I got this a little late. I am praying for your during and after your surgery tomorrow. I've been there, done that. It's not a cake walk but you're going to do fine! I am so happy that you're actually going through this surgery now rather than a year ago and the RNY now. You will recover so much faster and will be in less pain because of it!
