yummy find!!!
I was at Stop & Shop and they had 12 pack of Litpon Iced teas on sale. I have always kinda liked the diet green tea, but usually I keep watering it down, as the taste is a bit too sweet for me.
The had a new flavor of tea I hadn't seen before- diet white tea with peach and papaya. I know I ove white tea (it is a very light flavor), but wasn't sure how sweet this new one would be. Tried it and love it. It has zero calories, zero carbs, 74 mg of antioxidants. It is sure going to be a nice alternative drink this summer.
I absolutely love diet teas and have probably tried them all but have not tried the Lipton Peah and Papaya. I just picked up a 48 pack of the singles at Sams Club. It has four different teas, white tea with blueberry, red tea with peach, greet tea with lemon, and I think a raspberry. I also really like the Whylers diet tea with mango. They never have it at Stop and Shop but I do find it sometimes at Price Right.
I have the Lipton White Tea Mandarin and Mango. It's ok. I'm noticing my taste buds are changing. I have always bought SF drink mixes and singles to go. Most I enjoyed. Now after being banded for over 2 months...things I enjoyed before are now too sweet, too bitter or just aren't settling right in my stomach. I'm even noticing it with some foods...but mostly drinks.
Am I the only one?

No- I am the same. I don't want things that are sweet. That is one of the main problems with protien drinks- too sweet and too heavy. I am not having a too bitter problem, but I am noticing I do not really want to eat the same things as before (which is a good thing). I think it is strange, as the lapband wasn't really supposed to effect this- and it did
I love sweets but was never nutty over them. For me I love CHIPS (all kinds**** cream and chocolate chip cookies. Since being banded...none have been a problem for me.
I really haven't craved any of the junk foods I did before. I crave certain foods, the craving of the week is a clam boil. I plan to make a clam stew this week as I'll be able to puree it up.
