Guess Who?

HI!  I wanted to pop in and let everyone know I havent disappeared off the face of the earth, I am still indeed alive and kicking, but to say the last few weeks have been eventful and hectic, would be an understatement.   Some of you know, I’ve been involved in a pretty nasty custody battle regarding my kids. Last week I got some very disturbing news that I wont go into details of here, and filed for emergency placement and custody pending the hearing which after 3 horrid days of waiting was granted. So after a long drive to get them, Now I’m trying to get the kids settled, getting all the clothing and necessities they need and dealing with everything.

 

Alexia—I noticed you took care of the Monday updates last week….Thank you! And I hope we’ll see you Saturday.

 

Julie and Laura—I cant even begin to tell you what a huge support you’ve been for me the last week and a half. I can never thank you enough.

 

To everone else, I’ll be figuring out the dates for the May unofficial gathering this weekend and I’ll post more then.

 

I’ll be checking in as I can, but wont be able to post much for at least a few more days. I’ll be back more soon when things settle down a little and you’ll all be sick of me again..not to worry!

 

I can't even tell you how excited I am for you!!!!!!!!!!  As soon as I heard little ones in the background last night my heart skipped a beat!!   As for clothes- what size boys clothes do you need???  I will look through what I have!

That's so wonderful! Glad to hear that you finally got your kids! I remember when you came to visit me in the hospital you briefly mentioned it. And yes, I have boys clothes too - so let me know what size you need and I will gladly give you some if I have them!

Hey Angela! I've never been sick of you! You're a phenomenol woman!!!!!!!!!!! And THAT'S an understatement! Like everyone else, I have boy clothes too. We're gonna have to do something to get your two sweet daughters some clothes too. (BTW everyone...Angela needs sizes 6 & 7 girls clothes; size 12 girls sandals/shoes...size 4 boys clothes; size 10 boys sandals/shoes. I will gladly meet you anywhere to pick them up for her). I have 3 girls but nothing in those sizes. Sorry I couldn't help.

HAHAHAHA....Jules, you kill me!  I just LOVE you!! I'm just so over the moon right now and the kids are doing WONDERFULLY! We're still working on clothes, and of course Jules is right on target with the sizes, except....Connor actually is fitting into more 3t than 4t stuff ,so Kim and Alexia feel free to get rid of any old boys clothes this way! haha.  Oh..and for those of you with kids(ahem...KRISTA! JEN! ALEXIA! KIM!....etc) , ,my youngest (Connor) is turning 4 and we're having a birthday party tomorrow at my house so if you're not busy and want to come over, bring the kids and join us! Gives me a good excuse to catch up with all of you and the kids can all have a good time together.  LB is coming by, and I think so is Jules...you know us..any excuse to get together! Hi Angela.  I'm pretty new to the group and have not had the opportunity to get to know everyone so I don't know the details of your situation.  I just wanted to wish you luck through all of this and offer some support if needed.  I do not have any children but a friend of mine has a 7 yr. old and a 4 yr. old - both boys.  If you would like me to see what she has available please let me know.  If there is anything else I can do to help out please let me know.
