Thanks Beth and Julie - had a great day - and one teensie tiny bit of birthday cake at Carraba's restaurant.  I let my hubby and kids enjoy it :) Anyone heard from Shems?  She was supposed to have surgery on Friday April 25th (my b'day) Pam

That was what reminded me- I was looking at her post and hoping she might have popped in to say hi or someone updated on her. So glad it was a good b-day!!

Happy Belated Birthday Pam! Shems doesn't post or come online too often. I often talk to her through PMs.  I do think everything went well surgery wise...She too has Dr. Ryder and I was discharged Friday evening from the hospital after Dr. Ryder was done in the OR. Dr. Ryder was in good spirits so I'd have to say she had a good day. That's just my thought. I'm hoping to hear from her soon too, I know she was very nervous!

PAM...I'm so sorry I missed your birthday! Happy REALLY belated birthday!  I wont forget next year though, You and Guy share the same birthday!

Beth - you haven't said - how are your dogs making out in the movie?  are they done filming yet?

they ended up using one of my dogs, my balck and white male- Demon.  He filmed for one day as a background extra in a town square scene.  They ran out of light and had to end filming that day, and Mike expected to be called back, he waited a week- then called them.  I guess they wrapped up here and are in Alaska filming now.  Hopefully thier scene will make the movie (from what Mike said- it seemed a pivital scene.
