just needed to vent

I just needed to vent this...I thought i was all done with my testing to get banded...anyway i called the office to make sure they recieved all the reports so the girls at the office(which are really nice ) let me know what they needed so i called nutr.. my primary dr and they faxed over the info.  the cardiologists however felt that I should come in one more time as a precaution because its been awhile since i went to see him for an ok for surgery (he was my first app.. many moons ago) I know its for the best and they got me in to see him by next week im just a little dissappointed..i just want to go see about making my banding date  AUGHHH  thanks for listening Kim

Sorry you have to go back to the cardiologist. When you get down to the wire it just seems like everything is at a standstill.  When I was at the end and had all my testing done, there were holdups in the other doctors sending the results to the surgeon.  Just seemed to take forever.  But now looking back it went by very quickly, and before you know it you'll be out of the hospital on your way to a healthier person.   Dave

Hey Kim, I totally understand what you mean. I spoke with Cheryl at Dr. P's office and faxed some stuff over, as well as, my PCP and the endoscopy stuff. I'm thinking "Whew, I'm all set...Finally"!!! However, I have to see the pulmonologist one more time on May 7th to get her to release my sleep apnea info. Apparently, I have to be sure the CPAP and I are getting along well enough together! I'm so frickin' frustrated because I really want to have my surgery, like, yesterday!!! I was really hoping for some time in May but now this is going to move it into June! I feel your pain!  Jules

Ugh!  I think they are secretly laughing at us on a hidden camera on the other side of the phone.  They want to see how crazy they can make you.  If you pass, and make it through...then you get to have the surgery.  I swear it is part of the psych eval. You two are both sooo close!!  It will be here soon, though I know how the now soon enough goes!

Thanks for the kind words.. Good news cardiologists office called and change my appt to this week! Yeahhh and she said they will have the letter faxed over the same afternoon because its just a follow --up so its looks like i will (fingers crossed) be able to call monday  to make sure everything is all set  Yeaahhh  KIM

I completely understand.  I got to the same point you did and found out the "letter" that my primary sent was adequate.  I had to go back to her and told her exactly what they needed her to write.  It wasn't her fault, I didn't realize what was needed....but it was frustrating being so close - but feeling so far.

Hang in there Kim. Let things flow as they will. I know it's easier said then done but it's all for good reason.
