Clothes, clothes and more clothes!!!

I finally did it, I cleaned out my 2 closets!!! I have so many clothes that I need to give away now and I have noone to give them too!

They are all size 26/28 or 30/32. I have about 75-80 shirts and probably close to 20 pairs of jeans, dress pants and capri's.

If anyone wants them or knows anyone who could use them, please please let me know. I'd love to share with my friends before giving them away to someone else.

I dont know much about local organizations who will take them, so if you have any suggestions regarding where to take them, that would be great too!

My god that's a ton of clothes!!   If no one here can use them- I would suggest a womens shelter, then you know they are going to a great cause. 

Can you bring them to the next Support group meeting.  Maybe there will be a pre-op or someone else that might need them. Jen

Beth and Jen have great ideas! Maybe letting the bariatric units at RIH, Miriam and RW know so they can tell patients? Or advertise on the Mass and Conn. boards? I'm so proud of you for going through your closets. Good Girl!!!!

I know Big Sisters of RI used to accept clothing. It goes to shelters around RI. They even pick it up at your home. You have to call them to schedule a pick-up. I just dont know what they accept now. But its worth a call I would think.

I would suggest Big Sisters too.  They come right to your house to pick stuff up.  You just leave it on the steps of your house with a note on it.
