3 negatives?
I saw my diabetic doctor last week, aside from stating he's loosing money on me (no more diabetes, hc, or high blood pressure) and the last thing he is treating me for is probably going to be gone soon. He had ask me a question. Knowing the positvies of my surgery (no more diabetes, loosing over 100lbs, ect) could i list 3 negative aspects caused by having wls surgery.
You know I couldn't think of anything negative. I thought for a bit and really couldn't come up with anything I would consider as a negative after the surgery. I feel great, looking good, and my health has never been better. The only thing i could actually come up with is getting used to not drinking with my meals, but to me thats a habit now and I never think about.
So for those post op for awhile what do you think? Do you have any negatives post surgery?

Hey way to go Dave! Congrats!
I was boarder line Diabetes 1 and my heart Dr. wanted to put me on high blood pressure meds! SO I agree with you on all your positives!
Yes, not drinking with meals is a BIG thing to get used to and the worst thing is when food gets stuck or comes back up!
OTHER WISE the RNY WAS THE BEST THING I DID IN MY LIFE! Being thin and healthy is a good thing - and not to mention the ENERGY!
