endo scheduled for monday

hi everyone, hope you all had a great weekend! I was just wondering.. my endo is scheduled for 10 am tommorrow morn . they said i should arrive at 9 am and i will be there 2 and 1/2 hours. im having it done at RW does this time from 9 am or 10 am.. my mom is driving me and my 6 yeat old will be tagging along and i want to know how much entertainment i should pack for him... Hi Kim, I just had mine at RW on Wednesday. I went straight to admitting/registration at noon then right to the next door over. I was done and out by 2pm. The waiting area is very small but there is a TV and some magazines. My hubby didn't stay. I sent him home cuz the receptionist said they can call him the moment I'm ready to leave and I couldn't see him waiting. I was in great hands! The staff is so incredibly nice!!! I didn't feel a thing and they faxed all my results to Dr. Pohl's office before I even left! I came home and took a nap after. As tests go, it was pretty uneventful. Depending on where you live, maybe your Mom can just drop you off then come back for you with your son? Otherwise, I would consider packing something for a two hour quiet-time. thank-you so much! we only live about 20 minutes away from RW but I know my mom she wont leave and my son is very good about waiting.. if he gets antsy they can take a walk to the caf or gift shop i guess.. but i just packed , coloring books and markers, he should be good.. I thought this was my last thing i had to do.. i remembered i have the dietician appointment tues at 1 then I AM DONE... i wonder how long thats going to hold me up.. i want to have this surgery at least by the end of june.. although im not as prepared as you..HEHE.. take care Kim

Heck- you can bribe him with the, "if you are a really good boy, we can go to the gift shop and pick out a Webkinz".  I swear those are magic words lately. Good luck tomorrow!!

hi jules just get in about an hour ago..could not have been easier ...they were wonderful..i was there at 9 and out at 11..felt so good me and my mom stopped at famous footwear and bought a pair of  cali gears they were on sale and it was buy 1 get 1 half off... then i came home and fed my son lunch.. he was good ,he just gets a little nervous at hospitals.. anyway thanks so much for thinking of me..and word from your docs yet?  Kim

WOW!  I had lunch and then slept for a couple of hours and still went to bed and slept through the night.  I was loopy loopy loopy - good for you!
