I hate the cold and winter! I like to spend alot of time outdoors in the pool of working in the yard. I'm a home body but do like to get out now and then. I bike alot on the bike path. More or less like to hang out to relax, parks, zoos, picnics. I like the Bay Queen. There's also a boat ride I've enjoyed several times out in Onset, MA ...they have theme nights.  My family also takes turns doing cookouts/clamboils throughout the summer.

I had a hard time actually going into work yesterday- I was going in late because of the ultrasound and the temptation was WAY too great to just bunk it! :) I love to spend time at the beach but my favorite places are (like Laura) Beavertail Lighthouse & Fort Wetherill State Park both in Jamestown.  They are great places to walk and enjoy the sun and sound of the waves crashing on the rocks.  Wetherill also has alot of grassy places to play- I used to take my nieces & nephew there all the time to run around- I am SO looking forward to being able to do that again! I also usually spend some time on the Cape and would love to go camping again- I haven't been in a few years.   I just like being outside in the sun- even if it's just sitting there reading a book! I am a SERIOUS book lover- and there is this awesome place called the Book Barn in Connecticut that has a bunch of buildings with used books and some great outdoor space to just relax and enjoy. Hope everyone has a great weekend! Melanie

Since I am only 6 days p-op I took my son to the park and walked a little(very slowly) and sat on the bench and just enjoyed the sun. Marg

Yesterday was WONDERFUL! Being Southern I dont do cold very well, so I'm just so happy to see the warmer weather finally coming in.  Summer is Bristol is wonderful, there are so many nice shops and we love to go walking down on the harbor, so we walk there a lot, I love going down there at Sunset and just relaxing and watch the sun go down over the water.

An Awesome Post from an AWESOME Postess (get it? Instead of hostess?) Hee hee. Anywho, I am MOST DEFINITELY a warm-weather kinda gal. I get really down between the end of January up until I see my crocus' poppin' up! I have lived in Pawtucket for eight years and have NEVER been to water fire. I'd love to go this year! Ya know what??? We should get a list of birthdays going and EACH month do a Happy Birthday get-together to celebrate birthdays! We can even plan it as a healthy thing with some sort of activity! Just a thought. Okay (c'mon Jules, f o c u s ) My very most favorite thing in the whole-wide-world to do in the summer is gardening!!!! And I love to go to the beach and body surf (some day). I can hear the beachboys singin' now. Summertime, summertime, sum, sum, summertime....la, la, la. Well, Obviously, my days are happier right now because it's getting really nice out! Later!

we did a boat tour of waterfire one year- it was a blast!!!  Maybe I could find the info again and look into it.  I think the boat fits 10 people.
