2 week follow up today

Today was my 2 week follow up.  Kinda dissapointed cause I STILL did not see Dr Roye.  I saw him in the operating room before I went under, and have not gotten to see him since (other than at the desk when we just exchanged quick hi's).  I had some questions for him and Kathleen couldn;t answer them because it was the Warwick office, no computers there, and the info hasn't made it into my files yet.  Then I asked about where my port was- she pushed on my belly (still tender!!!) to find it.  OUCH!!!  And then I forgot to ask again about my stitches ot whatever they are and how long they last, etc.  UGH!  Well- have to call the Providence office anyway tomorrow to schedule for another 4 weeks from now for another follow up and  will ask then.

oh no, So sorry to hear your appt wasnt that great Alexia, but at least you're doing well . Hopefully you'll get to see Dr Roye next visit!!

Alexia, I've noticed that the office routine has changed alot since my surgery. My 1st Banniversary is Thursday.   I saw Dr. Roye at every appointment since my surgery, except  my last appointment.  It was the first time I met with Kathleen.  I believe he may be passing alot of follow-ups to Kathy.  There was one appointment with him that I got a fill and he was teaching Kathy how to do it. She will probably start doing fills also.   If you have any questions, I am sure he would be happy to answer them for you. Hi Alexia! WOW! Two weeks already!!! Time seems to fly right by when it's someone else. Okay, again, if it were me.....I'm a very squeeky wheel....I would INSIST on seeing Dr. Roye! Have you written down your questions? That really helps me. Good Luck! Jules

hubby drove me, and I told him everything I wanted to ask to be sure I didn't forget anything, he would be my back up.  We ended up having to take my youngest son with us, and got a kinda snarl that the room was just too small when they started walking down the hall with me.  Unfortunately- there when my back up...

That really stinks that you are not able to see your surgeon. For every appointment I've had with my surgeon I've been able to see her. I don't think she has anyone working with her...and I like that. Who knows what will happen down the road but I'm enjoying it now.  Hopefully you can get your questions answered soon. Make a list.
