Ok- another stolen topic- but I liked it.  What has being overweight pevented you from doing that you always wanted to?  Have you been able to do it yet? -I am not sure if my weight or fear prevented this- but skydiving  (I think I want to do it in one of those indoor things with the big fan first) -going on a cruise (don't want to be in a bathing suit) -african safari  -archeological expedition to Egypt have I done these- nope, but one day hope to

Hey Alexia,

I would have to say roller skating, ice skating and going to a Place like New York on a shopping spree and the beach (not putting on a bathing suit being).

Good question!   Probably travel, because airplane seats are so uncomfy :o(   Being active in general is hard.  I can't wait to be able to hike and kayak without having to worry about my fitness level or size.    I'm going to New Zealand next December as a graduation present to myself.  I can't wait!!!

cool post - things I've wanted to do include:

+ wear a little black dress - not yet...but soon!
+ run - i just like the feeling of running - i've tried and accomplished about a minute and a half so far! Great news
+go on a european backpacking trip - there's no way I could keep up with the extra weight, but I'm saving my pennies and losing the pounds!
+Have Hubby be able to wrap his arms all the way around me - HE CAN NOW!!!
+Walk on the treadmill...or walk ANYWAY for longer than 10 minutes with no Leg pain...I CAN!!!!! FOR AN HOUR HOUR AT LEAST!!!!!!!

o0oh I'm sure there's a lot more, but I can't think of anything!!

Great post - keep 'em coming!

When I was younger, I always went horseback riding but eventually had to stop because of my weight. I cant wait to do that again. I'd also like to go on a plane, I've never flown anywhere.

I'm sure that there are many many more, but these are the most important.

First of all big props to the "Bucket List" another great movie! ! ! I must say i have always wanted to learn how to ski and snowboard which i plan to do next winter with some old friends who want to teach me.  I would like to travel to Italy and visit friends and family, of course checking out the sites.  Plus sky diving is on my list of must do's because i actually had a dream last night that i finally did it, but you have to be under 220 lbs to do it i heard.  I also want to go on an African Safari to see all of the wild animals, it looks like a lot of fun. Pssst any Sugar Mommas who want to take me i will go LOL i mean it!!! Donnie

Another great topic! - Go Skydiving ( I have ALWAYS wanted to do this) - Go Scuba Diving - Go Kayaking (i used to do this & would love to do it again) - Go back to Alaska and have a few more adventures Most importantly though is being able to play with my nephew and nieces more- I would love to be able to run around with them and really enjoy being with them and right now and I can't do that.

Excellent post!.......Hey Donnie, DH has been jumping for almost 29 years in the military. In fact, he is what's called a Jump Master (basically the guy who prepares and makes sure the guys' chutes and gear are ready and gets the guys out the door to jump). He said if you have any questions, he can answer them for you at the next RW meeting. I guess it's pretty technical......Okay, bucket list......I want to go parasailing!.....I want to take my grandchildren camping......I want a romantic vacation with DH where we can walk along the beach and have lots of the S word....Hey, someone had to say it! My dreams are small! Just to have a day without all the pain I have now will fulfill the rest of my bucket list. Thanks for the post! Jules

I have been wanting to go on a cruise for years but the thought of going "obese" always made it less exciting. I'm hoping to go one day with no regrets!
