It has finally begun

Hi Patty! Welcome to our little famly. I have had all my tests done except for the endoscpy, and I have not even seen Dr Pohl yet. I will be seeing him later this month. I began my journey on Valentine's Day, same as Jules. I'm having lap band. I am hoping to have my surgery NLT June. This is a wonderful nd supportive group, and the perfect place to ask your questions. To me, the hardest thing about this journey up til now is the waiting game. But I guess that just gets us more ready and less likely to jump blindly into something as big as surgery.

Hi Patty,

Welcome to the board. The people on this board are so supportive and caring. I had my RNY surgery 3/12/2008 and what I found to be the hardest thing, is waiting to get your surgery date. Once you get it, it seems as if time flies.
