My mothers day mini-goal is to get to the gym at least 3 times a week. Last week was good. I went 4 times and have been building up my endurance on the elliptical. Honestly, I used to LOATHE that machine and not even be able to complete 2 minutes without nearly dying! Last time I was there, I did a full 15 minutes with no problem!!!! I could have kept going but I would have been late for work.

This week may not be so good...I'm not feeling too good and dont think I want to hang out at the gym. I'll try though.

my mini goal was a size one rather than weight because I had no idea how I would lose right after surgery.  Since Weds, I have lost 10 lbs, but have not seen a size difference, though I am certainly not at a point yet I want to put on tight jeans, I just put on my first pair of jeans yesterday, finally out of the baggy clothes to lounge out in.  I am sure most if not all of this weight is water weight- but heck- seeing the scale move was encouraging. I also spoke to my NUT today about being so hungry all the time, and we agreed it is most likely do to the clear liquids- which THANK GOD- I transition out of tomorrow.  Hopefully being able to add things like yogurt and cream soups will be a bit more filling.

My mini goal was to do better on the weekends, and to stay on my program and not fall back into old habits.  This past weekend I did just that.  I was very good and stayed on track.  Let's hope the scale is kind this weekend dave
