Saw Surgeon today!.!.!

DH and I went to see my Cardiologist for my follow-up. MY HEART IS NORMAL! BP is up a bit but WLS should take care of it so no worries and not a show stopper. We also went to see Dr. P for the first consult today! He was happy to see that all my pre-reqs are done! I had a whole list of all my past surgeries (about 15), a list of all my meds, a list with my diet history and (because of the good advice from my friends here) a list of questions so I wouldn't forget to ask.  Dr. P. is very straight-forward and I'm very happy to say that the surgery will be scheduled as soon as I have my endoscopy, which should be scheduled within the next week or so.  I'm thinkin' (according to all the timelines given by Dr. P.) that surgery should be scheduled NLT mid-May?.?. It'll be the perfect time of year for losing weight! Nice and warm outside! Hope your Monday went as well as mine! Jules

Julie-
That's wonderful!!!  I had the endoscopy a few weeks ago- it was the first thing I did.  Thanks for your reply to my message- it's nice to find people who are going through the same thing I am.

Have a wonderful day!

Congrats on getting your first appt done with Dr Pohl!!!  Mid May seems about right to me. When I saw Dr Pohl the first time all I had left to do was the endoscopy as well and it was a week later. It was a month from my 1st appt until my follow up and then surgery was 2 weeks after that!! It will be here before you know it!!

Hey Jules, Great news on your visit with Dr Pohl.  I'm so happy to read that your visits will be fast and furious now, and that surgery will happen so soon.  I personally am hoping for something in the June time frame, so that seems about right, since I still have about a month before  I  get to see him.  GREAT news about your progress!!!  We'll be on the loser's bench soon enuf!!

YEAH JULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Congrats on the appointment!   I'm so happy for you that things are going well. Sounds like you will be on track for the mid-May (or maybe earlier) time frame. The move to the loser's bench is getting close! lol
