Food Find and PS Consult, Take 2!

Hi everyone, I just bought Arnold Double Protein bread today, it has 6g of protein in each slice. Unfortunately, it does have high fructose corn syrup in it, which I avoid, but I figured it was worth a try anyway (2g sugar per slice, which isn't too bad). I'll let you know how it tastes! Also, for those of you who know that I chickened out of my last PS consult...I have another one scheduled for 6/2! Dr. Pohl gave me the name of this surgeon (Andrea Doyle) at my last visit, and I bit the bullet and made an appt. She operates at RW, and I had a pretty good experience there with my RNY, so I figured why not? It costs $165 just for the consult - yikes! But no one ever said PS was cheap, I guess.  Also, any Disney World lovers out there? We're taking the kids this summer and I am already compulsively planning...I would love some tips since I haven't been in 10 years (and never with kids!) Hope to see you all soon!

I (and my boys) LOVE the arnold Health Nut bread, unfortunately I can't have it for probably 6 months, due to all the seeds and nuts in it. Wow- $165 just for a consult- ouch.  Though, that is a "normal" Dr apt fee- though we are just used to co-pays.  Let us know how it goes! As for Disney- I am a nut!  I am hoping on going this October.  We are trying to plan to go with my parents so Mike and I get a night to sneak away as well. Love the new pic!

Congrats on scheduling your consult again Krista! I'm sure you'll get it done this time and everything will be great. Just remember we're all here to support you and hey, if you want someone to go with you to the consult and wait in the waiting room give me a call!  Thanks for the idea on the bread, I'll have to keep an eye out for it and give it a try one day!

Congrats! Yea I remeber you talking about it at the RW meeting.I prmoise it will be fine trust me. I went for mine and was soooo nervous that he was going to say non you are still to heavy or somthing, but low and behold he didnt and was really nice! Good luck. Let me know if you have any questions? Disney was awsome my husband Paul and I went for our honeymoon. We loved MGM and Epcot the most. Epcot has fireworks every night and they are unbelieveable!!! My brother and sister in law just went a few weeks ago with my 5 year old nephew and my 3 year old niece. They are still talking about it!!!! DD
