am I just being really paranoid?
ok- so I am holding a pillow on my lap every time I sit or lay down. I am terrified someone or something is going to fll on my stomach. Not sure if part of is has to do with my cat and huskies- they all love to jump on my lap- even though most of em don't fit on there. It is this weird security blanket kinda thing. Hopefully I get over it soon.
I dont think you're being paranoid Alexia, a pillow is actually a good tool for you to use when you get up or down and also if you have to cough right after surgery holding a pillow will help you from stretching too much.
I think its whatever makes you comfortable and I know how huskies can be, they are so loveable!
Give it a few days and you'll not need it any more, but if it makes you more comfortable right now, I say go for it!
Roger Williams gave me a blanket that was taped up and they wrote"hug me"on it. I hugged that thing all the way to the recliner. I think I still have it. It works great even now, if I'm too gassy or bloated feeling. My cats was my protector the week after my surgery, she sat on the arm of my chair while I was in it. If I went any where else she would sit in the doorway. It was so cute!
