I just got off the phone with Alexia and she sounds great! Her surgery went well and shes now officially banded.  She has a bit of a soar throat and "feels like she wa*****hed in the stomach" but is doing good! Shes been up and walking around and expects to get to go home tomorrow morning.  She said to tell everyone hello and she'll update after shes home.

I am home and thanks all for the well wishes!  I am still sore/slow geting up and down.  The staff was amazing at RIH (I was in the MOC building) and I guess I was kind of unusual to want to be up and walking around after surgery, so they all were chatting with me as I walked by.   I had my first clear liquids today (yesterday was all ice chips) and having trouble getting 1/2 cup in- mostly just doing 1/4 cup.  I am not sure what full feels like yet, and don't want to pu**** at all.  Throat is still very hoarse from the tube, but overall feel good. I am so glad I had this done! And again- thanks for all the wonderful well wishes!!
