The end of our Easter mini-goal..and a new mini-goal!
Happy Belated Easter everyone! Its Monday and the end of the Easter mini-goal. Did you reach your mini-goal?
I’m very happy to report that I am very comfortably now in a size 16 pants (some 14s are now comfortable) and the shirt that I made part of my mini-goal fits properly (picture to come tonight after I get home..sorry, was running late this morning) So I’m dubbing this mini-goal a success! How about you?
For our next mini-goal, Mothers Day is just under 7 weeks away which fits right in with the timeframe we’ve been using, so lets set a Mothers Day mini-goal! What will your mini-goal be this time around? Mine is going to be to run for 5 minutes on the treadmill at a speed of 5 by the end of the goal. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to reach this one, but I’m sure going to give it a try!
So how have you done, and whats your next mini-goal going to be?
Not sure what my mothers day goal will be. I am participating in the Memorial Day Challenge, which is weight related, I think for Mothers Day I am going to focus on getting to the gym at least 3 times a week. I have been going, but sometimes I just dont feel like it!

Hello All,
My mini goal was met (30 mins a day on my exercise bike/pre-op). Post-op I will keep my same goal (30 mins. per day on my exercise bike). I do walk now,but I want to get back on my bike. My follow up w/Dr. Ryder is 4/2/2008 so I will wal****il then. If I get the ok, I will start back on my bike with no resistance and 10min. intervals until I reach 30 mins. w/resistance 2.
Congrats Angela and LB and reaching your mini-goals.
Pam, your right at the door, congrats on where you are at right now!!!!!!!!!!!!

My goal was for 10lbs, I was able to take off 8, so I'm happy. Clothes are fitting good, I'm loosing sizes, so I'm happy with my progresss. For this goal I'm going to do a non scale goal. I've been having a little trouble on the weekends. I usally ease up a bit, but lately I've been easing up a little too much. I don't get dumping syndrome, so ice cream and other snackes go down just fine. I can't do the volume i once did, but I still see some of the old habits are there. So my goal is to stay on my program and not use the weekends to go really off and crazy. I think it is something I need to do to get back to my new habits and keep the old one from coming back.
