Tomato Soup Recipe...and a Dessert
Someone had asked about a few recipes... here they are.
Tomato Soup
sm chopped onion, 1/4 sliced mushrooms, 3oz diced lean ham, 1/4 teaspn olive oil,1 clove garlic/minced
1/8 tsp paprika, dash allspice, 1 can chicken broth(14oz) 1 can chick peas(15oz) 3 whole peeled tomoatoes(canned works too) 1 sm can tomato paste.
Mix all (except broth, chick peas and tomato) in a lrg pot and coo****il onion is translucent. Add the rest of ingred.(except tom paste) cover and simmer 15-20 mins. Puree in blender(or whatever you have) and add tom paste. simmer for a few more mins and its ready.

Cinnamon Surprise
1/4c cottage cheese, 1 slice whole grain bread and a dash of cinnamon. broil for 2-3 mins
