Echocardiogram(s) / Sleep Study / Hubby!

I'm so glad to have the echocardiogram done and over with. My 'stress' test is Thursday. I will be having the IV one. Hootie Frickin' Hooo! I am going for my first Sleep Study tonight. After all these years of waking without hubby when he is away with the military, HE will be waking up without ME for a change. Hee hee, I just find that amusing. *snicker* *snicker* Anywho, Hubbins is having an echocardiogram tomorrow. He was having his pre-deployment physical and EKG yesterday and was Flagged as NON-deployable because he has Aterial Fibrillation! That's not good! They told him to go to the Emergency IMMEDIATELY! He is at risk of having a STROKE! Needless to say, this scares the crabbles out of both of us! We went to the ER, their EKG's gave the same results! He is ordered to take injectable Lovenox! I'm going to have a tough time sleeping for the sleep study tonight cuz I'll be worrying about him all night.  My hubby is the more healthy of the two of us! Low B/P; Low Cholesterol; runs 5x a week; eats lean meat...etc...etc. He has been in the Army for over 28 years! It's all he knows, if they keep him non-deployable, he could end up retiring before he is ready to.  Okay, blahty, blahty, blah, blah...I'm done ranting now. Thanks for taking the time to read this. I'll give updates tomorrow. Happy St. Patty's Day! Jules

Hi Jules:

Sorry to hear about your husband. I'm sure that everything will be ok. Be sure to keep us updated!

Good luck with your sleep study tonight. One tip - the only way to get all the glue out of your hair is to use dish detergent to wa**** out.... good luck with that tomorrow! Let us know how the study goes.

I hope you hubby is fine- glad they found it before it did become a stroke!   Another tip- witch hazel works wonders on the stickies they put everywhere else.  I kept finding new ones (legs, neck, under *****hest- ugh!)

Hi Everyone, I thanks for your kind thoughts. You're right...thank heavens they found out about the A-Fib BEFORE he has a stroke. Sometimes I just worry about my family too much I guess. I had the Sleep Study in E. Prov. on Catamore Blvd. Very nice people. Thanks again! Jules
