Hi everyone...sorry I've been MIA! (One year appt update)

I had my one year appt with Dr. Pohl on Monday, and he is very happy with my progress! He says that by now, my body is so used to a small amount of food that to lose the last 10 pounds, I'd really have to "starve" myself or exercise quite a bit. He says that I have done better than expected (as far as statistics for the surgery go) and he also gave me three names of surgeons in case I pluck up the courage to have my PS consult! On another good note, one of the nurses at the new place I work called me "young and cute" to my supervisor!! I'm more excited about the young part than the cute part, but it's still nice to hear. The funny part is, I worked at the same building 3 years ago with this same nurse, and she has no idea who I am! My new goal is to be more active on the board - I miss you guys!

Hi Krista! We miss you too! Congratulations on your success so far and by the way, losing the 10 more lbs or not, you look fantastic! You have given me so much great information at the meetings and I really appreciate it!

Hi Krista! awww, We must have been in Dr Pohls at off times. I was there at 1:15 for my 3 month follow up. I would have loved to see you again.

I'm so glad your appt went well. Its no surprise that Dr Pohl is happy with your results, I still cant get over your before pics!! You're a true inspiration to all of us on here.
