I also just read somewhere that medical insurance may reimburse the expense for the bracelet, esp of your Dr writes a note of necessity.  If not, it is tax deductible under medical expenses or can come out of your medical flexible savings account if you have one set up.

Hey Angela, I'm also interested but I won't be able to be at your meeting. Can I get the tag through you then make a bracelet myself later? I'm also allergic to Phenergen and Morphine. Will all that info. fit on a tag? P.S. I wonder how Robin is feeling.?. Jules

Hey Angela, I would love to have a new MedID. Im not much of one that would wear it.. but i used to always clasp it to my bag. Also, not sure if I would be able to come make my own, but if I cant attend.. maybe you guys could be creative! Keep my posted

Fantastic idea Angela. I was looking the ID bracelets over for quite a while before surgery... I found some nice ones, cheap and expensive but nothing that caught my eye completely. I was frustrated because I wanted something in particular. I'm excited.

Angela, I actually just bought one through www.beadeddaisy.com.  It was kind of expensive. I haven't received it yet, it takes 4-6 weeks and I bought it on 2/15.  I have the band which has the abdominal port so I think it was a wise decision.  I wanted to be prepared just in case I enter a hospital on an emergency basis, or whatever the situation may be and I am unable to explain. But I could always use another. Keep me posted. Thanks  Nancy

I'm glad to see there is so much interest. I'll start getting things together for the tags and give everyone an update this weekend!
