antidepressant PILLS after surgery
I stopped taking my Wellburtrin 2 weeks pre-op. (Last week of November) I think the excitment of my surgery kept me up, that I didn't notice any problems except for a headache more than usual. It's now March 12 and I just started taking them again. I did notice my hair is thicker now than it has been in a long time. Come to find out that anti-depressant can make your hair fall out. Your hair will thin with rapid weight loss anyway. I made the decsion to try not taking my Wellbutrin at all. I would rather be emotional than bald. I have actually been really good. You can take pills after surgery, provided they aren't horse pills. I had no problem swallowing Vicadin after surgery and they're good size. You should be able to go back to all your medications by time you leave the hospital. Good Luck.
