It's working

It's working.  It took a while, but I finally feel full.  I am a cheap date!!!!!!  I got 1/4 way thru breakfast and I was full (egg, whole wheat english muffin sandwich, light latte).  My husband and I went to a benefit dinner and I ate 1/4 of my meal.  Prime rib (My All Time Favorite Food).  My husband asked me if there was something wrong with my meal.  I just felt full.     I purposely ate light all day, just so I could have dinner out.  I wish I was more patient.  I got my surgery back in December and I was expecting immediate restriction and it didn't work that way for me.  I have no regrets on my choice.  You must be patient in this journey.  It's the hardest thing to master, almost as hard as ignoring the talking eclair (another story).  Good Day to all.  I have to update my ticker.  I am at 220 now.  YIPE>>>>>

Hello,

You are right, patients takes work!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I am having my surgery 3/12/2008 and I am a bit nervous now.   I know that my mind-set will have to change and that will take time.

Congrats! This definitely takes time (no matter which operation you have) and patience! Sometimes patience is hard to come by!

Keep up the good work.
