Ok i am having my first real bad restriction right now and i just want to say all i ate was about 1 ounce of ground chicken.  I have had this before without a problem.  I feel like im going to be sick but at the same time it feels like its working its way down sloooowwwlllyy.  I am glad i am having this because all of you who have shared similar issues i learned about it from you and i know its not the end of the world.  Lol so i threw out the rest of my dinner 80% and when i feel better i will try one of the other fruit shakes from protei i have later to get in the protiens.  Thanks for making me understand that we are all the same but have different expieriences.  you are all unique and caring!

I hate that feeling, but at the same time I love it because it reminds me that my tool is working properly.

Chicken doesnt sit well with me so I have stopped trying.

Hope you feel better.

Hi Donnie, chicken and pork are probably the worst for me. I try to keep it as moist as possible and never eat it cold and never eat it as leftover. Its a crappy feeling to have.. but just hold of on chicken for a little bit and retry it again in a week or so. It is so weird how one day its fine and the next... blah! It will get easier, but it is all trial and error! best wishes

What a bummer Donnie. I can relate. Last night I came in rather a bit late from my friends.. 7 or so and I sat down with tuna... it sat there and it felt like I was going to be sick but it also felt like it was going down slowly... same thing as you... I felt so bad I had to go to bed and passed right out, which I can never do. I was going to make some sort of ground chicken meatballs for myself tonight, but now I wonder if I should... seems more people than less have difficulty with ground chicken.

I have the same problem with chicken, unless it very moist, like chicken tomato stew.  I can chew to puree and still it gets stuck. You can try breathing deeply and slowly, your diaphram will help pull it down.   I have the same problem with french fries.  I suppose that's a good thing.

Hi Donnie!

YUCK!  I hate that feeling too!  Chicken does that to me! I mix chicken chop suey with a can of Progresso chicken soup and it goes down well!  I find that soups work the best for me right now - so that is what I am sticking to!

You're lookin good!

Kim
