Hi LB!

1 - What has been the best thing about your WLS or if you are a pre-op, the best thing about your journey so far?

Being able to shop in the regular clothing section and trying on things and they not only fit but they look good on!  I like being the "incredible shrinking woman!"

2 - What has been the worst or most difficult thing about your WLS or journey so far?

Not being able to eat all the stuff that I used to! BUT it's okay - I am healthier now!

Hey Laura, Don't forget, when you lose weight, your hormones change too! Up, down, up, down....Just give your body some time to adjust. I Know....T I M E is a four-letter-word! But it's necessary. Always remember..... YOU ARE..... Lovable Capable & Worth It!!! Jules

I am a little late anwering this.

As a pre-op, I am getting the wls for me and to better myself wholistically!!!  Even though, I have family members who aren't to thrilled (they are entitled to their feelings) I am still going to do this.   I want to be healthy all the way around.

HI HUN, First you are still the same caring loving and wonderful person that you always were. It is just that your body is going through a lot of change and is trying to catch up. I know we haven't talked about this and I just want you to know you can come to me with anything I to have gone through this. I remember the first month out of surgery I was soo emotional I remember I cried for like an hour because I couldn't eat a cheese curl ( hello a cheese curl). I also have the what ifs and I wish I's. Like I wished that I had waited to get married so that I could have looked better or I wish I was this size in high school it would have been so much easier. I think it shows that you are strong as you can see that something is not right and you are making the steps to help. I promise it will get better. You will learn to let go of the past and look forward at all the wonderful things you  will be able to do now and the wonderful life that you have a head of you. I know it is hard but you will get through this!! my answers  1.)The best thing is all the things I can do now and how much healthier I am now and for in the future. 2.) The hardest thing I will say is learning to love my self. Even though I have lost all this weight and people still comment I get frustrated because I still fell overweight. I am working on this one DD
