The "getting to know you" post went really well! Its nice to see such a great turnout on our board! I figured that I would start another post.

Today's post will be to tell us something interesting about yourself!

Funny that as I post this I am sitting here racking my brain to think of something interesting about myself and I just cant...lol!

I guess for now I will tell you that my interesting thing is that since my WLS I have been very emotional and vulnerable...which is different for me because before I was always "the strong one" who could "fix things". Its hard to adjust too.

On a light not; I know a lot about cars and love to drive!

So, lets here it. Tell us something interesting about yourself that you would like to share!

Until tomorrow...

PS - check out my blog, I am very proud of it (link is in my siggy)

Hey Hey... I kinda never did the "getting to know you" deal.. Sorry. But Here I am ready, willing and able to tell you all something interesting about myself. Ummm Yea. Many things but what would you find interesting is the question? LOL What intrigues me about myself the most is that I am part Native American and find that Nature is where I do believe I love to be.  I feel like I am in my own elements when I am one with nature. Sounds kinda silly, but thats me. ~Dawn

Hi Dawn,

I am also 1/2 Narragansett Indian (my dad was full blooded) and 1/2 Cape Verdean (my mom is full blooded).  What tribe are you from?

I am part Blackfoot, part Kaskaskian. Found that my GGF 7th generation Kaskaskian was Chief Rouensa, and I am still looking for my GGF 3rd Blackfoot... he also was a Chief. I've been searching my whole life for this family line. They did not keep very good records back then of Blackfoot... Nothing like the Cherokee's.

Dawn:

Thats awesome that you are researching your history... especially since they are from the Native American decent! Nature is absolutely beautiful and pure and I can definitely see why you feel most comfortable there!

hmmmm- interesting fact about me?!?!?  I lied before- I actually have 4 sons, not 3.   When my male dog, Demon (the boys named him after the lead dog in Snowdogs, he looks a lot like him- same attitude too!) was about 3 weeks old, his mom (my first husky- Sasha) died of eclampsia.  Demon was then hand raised and bottle fed from that point on.  He has always had a special place in my heart- but he truely thinks of me as his mom.  It is really funny how he interacts with me, always trying to make sure I aprove of things and seeing what he can get away with. Ok- not so interesting- but I am a boring person whose life revolves around her kids and dogs.

Hi Alexia,

I don't find that boring, actually, it's quite interesting.
