Does it hurt?

My friend is going for her first fill for the lapband on Wednesday - she's wondering if she should be in any pain afterward?  Anyone?

I have not had one yet but I have read "no" by many others. Some say it's quick and very simple. Other say slightly uncomfortable feeling but no pain.  I guess it's like everything else in life...different for each individual.   

There is an initial pinch of the needle going in.  Just like any needle.  After the pinch, it does feel weird - but no pain.  I hate needles...and just lay back and close my eyes.
