Looking forward to meeting you Cara. Apparently I'm easy to spot. I've had a few people come up to me out of the blue and say "hey, you're Angela off OH" Not to mention, I'm the one with the southern accent and the funky red highlights in her hair (What was I thinking!)

I'm looking forward to meeting you too!!  I have the remnants of a southern accent myself.  Where did you get yours?  Mine is from living in Nashville for 25 yrs of my adult life.  I've been back here 10 yrs now, but some things don't go away...for instance my "R"s...I still have them. I'll be the one with the short spiky dark hair, the nostril diamond and the big industrial bar pierced into my left ear.  Funky red highlights are right up my alley!!

haha...sounds like we'll get along just fine Cara.  I am a southern girl through and through so I was raised with the accent. I Grew up in the mountains of KY, then lived in mountains of TN and NC before moving here a year and a half ago to be with my now hubby. Which in itself is kinf of ironic since hes not from here either (he grew up in England and lived in Los Angeles before moving to RI with his X-wife years ago)  I dont know what got into me with the highlights, I was out with a friend Sunday and we decided to get our hair done and next thing I knew I had these funky red highlights!  My husband hasnt  started joking yet,  he says I'm turning into a completely different looking person than the one he married, but he likes it..and thats all that matters.

my hair right now is my big dilemma too.  It is finally long enough to donate, and I have been dying to get a cute short bob with a dramatic color change.  I keep wondering, why change my hair if I still am the same- can I pull off the short cut with still being so heavy?!?!  Should I wait till after surgery and have a whole new look??  Will I be able to live will all this darn hair till then? (it is driving me nuts now) ok- I know that was so off topic- but I have had a REALLY bad day and needed to babble (will probably post about it tomorrow- but now just need to chill out)

Aww Alexia, Sorry you had a bad day today.  I hope you will feel better after a good nite's sleep...otherwise, post away and get it off your chest.
