Good morning everyone,  Sorry I'm late posting this, things were a madhouse at work yesterday and by the time I got home, I just wanted to pass out. So lets pretend for a few minutes that its Monday,  How's your mini-goal going? If you havent joined in, then make yourself a mini-goal for Easter and join us whether your post-op or Pre-op..whatever goal will suit your situation.  Heres my update for this week....... I bought some size 16 jeans, I havent tried them on yet, but I will soon. My 18's are not loose yet, so theres no urgency. "the Shirt" is still hanging in the closet, I'm not putting it on this week. I think I'll wait until next week.  So...we'll see if I make my goal to wear the size 16 jeans comfortably and "the shirt". How is your going coming?

Hey Angela! Part of my goal was to make it to under 300 lbs...starting at 427, I've come a long way and I have made my goal this week! I weighed in and the scale said 297! My goal weight for Easter is 290...I think I can do it!

I went shopping at Lane Bryant yesterday and now fit comfortably into an 18/20. Before surgery I was wearing a very tight 30/32..... I was excited about that!

See you Thursday!

YES Angela I agree with you, shoping for clothes is FUN and enjoyable!  Well now instead of eating habits, I could definitely become a clothing shopaholic!

Hello everyone! My mini goal is to drink more water and to lose 10lbs (188 starting).  I've only lost 1lb. this week but I hadn't worked out as much as I normally do because I hurt my hip while running.  But I'm feeling great again and home to lose another 2 lbs by next week.   I had my 6 month f/u with Dr. Giovanni yesterday.  She was so proud of me and that made me feel good.  I've lost 74lbs since surgery for a total of 83 since beginning this WLS journey.  I went to walmart yesterday to buy more workout pants and I actually fit into an 8/10...my sister said I'm officially a "skinny *****".  I can't believe this is my life...at times I question if this is really happening.  Life just gets better and better with each pound lost.   Good luck Landarun4acure

Congrats to all on your wonderful progress.

My mini goal is to be able to exercise for 30 mins on my exercise bike.   I am still doing 20min. with a resistance level of 2.   On next Tuesday I will up it another 5mins making it 25 mins.  Since my surgery is scheduled for 3/12/2007 I will have to put my resistance back to 0 but I can still the 30mins (just take my time).

You're doing great Robin. You'll have that 30 minutes in and you're surgery will be here before you know it. The fact that you've done so much pre-op will really help you heal as well.  Keep up the great work!
