wooooooooooo hooooooooooo Robin!!!!  I'm so happy for you.  I went to GNC and picked up a big tub of the "Any Whey" protein powder to add to my drinks.  There are alot of options - just depends on your taste buds.  Stock up on things like broth, creamed soup, sugar free pudding, etc.  I picked up the book - "Weight Loss Surgery for Dummies" at Barnes and Noble - was a great guide - gave an actual shopping list of things to buy before surgery.   I would also recommend as I do now to anyone starting any sort of weight loss plan - measure your body with a tape measure before you begin.  This really helps me in the weeks where I feel that the scale hasn't budged - I end up seeing it in inches.   Best of luck to you! Pam (ps - scooting over as we speak )

I'm so excited for you Robin!  I know exactly what it feels like to finally get a date.  It's like have another birthday!   I used Carnation Instant breakfast sugar free with skim milk or you can purchase them already made.  Sugar free Popicles, Sugar free jello, crystal light, slim fast low carb protein shakes as well and plenty of soup. Good luck...it's not going to be easy but speaking from a person who is 6 months post op, it is all worth it.
