Hi all, I had wls surgery in 2002? I think. I found support here back then but boy it was alot different! This site has certainly grown since then. Anyway, I am looking to have a revision but I am unsure about soooo many things.
Looking for insurance info, I have RI UHC. My husband is employed by the state. I am just unsure about all the different options avaliable now, I am not even sure I had a RNY which is what I thought I had.
I guess I am just looking for support and people who have been there or are going there! Looking forward to meeting you all. Thanks Linda

FYI - most of us attend the monthly support group at Roger Williams Hospital which takes place on the 4th Thursday of each month, the next one is February 28th... feel free to join us!

Hi Linda, I haven't had the surgery yet, but I am new here too. And like everyone else wrote, this is a wonderful and supportive group here. I am planning to attend the support group on the 28th at RW. Why not come and be a Newbie with me? Welcome!

No matter what the question is, we are all here for support, and a fabulous support group at that on OH. There is also support meetings that are held at Rhode Island Hospital in the Gerry House, the first Wednesday of each month. I generally post a reminder at the end of each month. March 5th at 6:15 is next one up.
