Question about the monthly support group mtg at RW

Does Dr Pohl attend the mtg each month?  And is it open to those of us who are planning to have surgery as well as those who have already had it??  I guess I am figuring that the more I learn about my new life changes, the better.

BTW - I can see how once you decide to do this, it has a snowball effect...You just want to keep rolling and gathering speed.  I get obsessive about something once I put my mind to it.  I hope my enthusiasm doesn't make you all crazy!  It's one of my charms.

Great!!  Not that I am feeling at all inhibited, but it frees me to continue to be my enthusiastic self.

Dr Pohl does not attend the meetings every month, there is a facilitator who "runs" the group and then just a bunch of us pre and post-op. Its a wonderful opportunity to ask questions and gather information.  Hope to see you there!

Thanks Angela!   I already have it on my calendar.  I hope to get answers to questions I don't even know I have.

Great question Cara! I posted  a little while ago asking if it's okay to bring our spouses to the meeting. I can't wait to meet you!!!!!

I'm looking forward to meeting you too, Jules!!   I can't see why it wouldn't be ok to bring your husband.  After all, our families are also going thru this, not just the one who has the surgery.  But hopefully you will get a reply to your post soon.  Everyone is very generous with their knowledge.
