Psychiatric Eval and Insurance

I have Aetna for my insurance and the Psychiatric group recommended by Dr Pohl in the seminar does not accept Aetna.  I have been online looking for someone else, but does anyone else have Aetna?  If so, who did you see for the eval?   Also, I wondered if anyone went to RI Medical Imaging in East G to get the gallbladder ultrsound? Thanks!!

Hi Cara, Sorry I don't have an answer for you.  Did the Psych group have any suggestions for you? 

No, the psych group basically said "we don't take your insurance. Sorry".....But I am ok with that.  I am a bulldog when I want something done, so I have 3 names and #s that I am ready to call this week, and if I can't get lucky with those, I am going to ask my PCP when I see him on Fri.  If that doesn't pan out, I will call Dr Pohl's office.  They have been SOOO nice there already.

Good idea. I found the ones I am calling this week by looking on their website...But I need to call Aetna again to get one thing in writing that I am unsure about regarding documentation of exercise participation.  I belong to the gym, and have belonged to this particular one since October.  I go 4-5 times every week, in the morning after my son heads off to school, but I am not sure what kind of proof they require on that - specifically....so I plan to get them to mail or email me something with that.  I know how the insurance companies can be, so I want to get all my ducks in a row now, before I am sitting there in April hoping to get a surgery date.
