Hello - I'm new to this forum.

Hello all!  I've been lurking for the last month or so.  But I think it's time I made my presence known.  I have been reading the posts over the last month as I have been researching having the WLS.  I finally attended the seminar last nite with Dr Pohl and Dr Giovanni, and now I am ready to commit, so I guess it is time to show my face and ask for your support.  You all have been so great to each other...and Congrats to all of you on the great successes you have had with your own surgeries and weight loss.  I have followed along with each of the recent surgeries, and I have held my breath waiting until you came back and posted all went well.  I'm so happy for everyone!! Welcome to our little family Cara! Yo've got a great group of knowledgeable and kind people here so feel free to ask any questions, voice concerns, rant, rave, or just generally converse.  I hope you'll join in on our mini-goals and support group meetings, just because you havent yet had the surgery yet doesnt mean you shouldnt be in on the fun!

Hi Angela, Gosh, I feel like I know you already, as I have been reading along for a while.   Thanks so much, I would love to participate!  I have witnessed here how much support everyone offers and receives, and I can definitely see how that is a great help to making our journey a successful one.  I feel the love!

Welcome!!  These people here are such a godsend to me with all of thier support, tips, friendship, and advice.  I could not ask for a better group to be here for me while making this journey.  I am nearly done my testing (just sleep study left) and hopefully I will join them soon.  Good luck in your journey as well!
