How did most of you file a claim prior to the surgery? I tried putting in my claim and it kept messing with my head. Am I doing something wrong??????

I had surgery on the 22, was home on the 23rd and was back to work on february 4. I am a teacher so I just used 9 sick days. Honestly...I think you will do just fine. make yourslef get up and walk and mind over matter. I had more pain from my iv site than my tummy. I never took the prescription painkillers and went right onto liquid adult Tylenol that i bought at CVS. I was walking a mile and a half a night one week out.

I filed my claim the day I got home from the hospital - I didn't get my money until 3 weeks later though.   I found the web site wouldn't let me file until I was already out of work. good luck Dawn! Pam

Ok. Here's the deal. I gave my letter of me going in for surgery to my boss at work, two days later, I was suddenly laid off. They said the school department say I was only picking one kid up and the run suddenly ended. So, I need this TDI right now, cause I don't have enough in unemployment. Lawyer? OHHH, I'm considering it! Thanks, I will file the day I come home.
