For the ladies ....
Does anyone use Mirena for birth control? I've had this implanted for 4 years - haven't had a period in almost that long (for those who aren't familiar with Mirena- this is a side effect) - yesterday I started spotting for the first time in 4 years. I am 2 months post op (RNY) and have lost 52 lbs - do you think this is normal? I know several of you said your periods were irregular after surgery so I'm hoping this is "normal".
