What's your plan for Thursday?
I think valentines day is a nice day to force a little romance on guys. (Face it, us girls need it every now and then! I'm not a video game widow, but I am a sports widow - hockey mainly)
My DREAM Valentines night:
Soft Piano playing and candles start the mood. Romantic dinner him in a suit, me in a little black dress, at a quaint little restaurant on Federal hill. After dinner, dancing in a soft lit atmosphere. Then, share a dessert then go home and...you know..a few times.
His DREAM Valentines night:
Him, Me and a big screen, with a Hockey game on. Probably ACDC blaring in the background with the sounds of drunk local, sport playing, has beens reminiscing about their glory days and cheap tableware crashing to the floor and some crappy miserable waitress (The only reason she got her job was because her tits are huge) snapping gum while she asks us if we want pitcher, draft or bottle. Go home in silence because the goalie let in a game winning goal on a breakaway. Go home and you know, once and then go to bed.
LOL
so, we've compromised:
Hubby and I are moving on the 15th. We decided that we weren't going out on V-Day this year so we could just get a jump on the move. (The new landlord already gave me my key) so I bought something nice that I already have hanging up in the bedroom closet. We're going to bring some stuff to the place Thursday night to unpack, I figure I'll just suggest we order take out from somewhere while we unpack and spend our first valentines day in the new place getting it ready for our next chapter.

So what are your plans?
Well, this is our first valentines as a married couple (2nd we've been physically in the same state) and to be honest, I have no clue what to expect. I'd planned to cook a romantic dinner, but hubby has told me hes cooking and thats all I know so far. I know it wont be too extravagant, because we both work Thursday and wont be home until 5:30-6 and we both have work Friday... The one thing I have planned out....since I've reached my mini-goal for V day, I'm going out today or tomorrow and buying something sexy for Thursday.
Guess I'll just have to wait and see for the rest.
Thanks Lauren, The funny part was I never felt bad, it was only when I ate.but yes, I am able to eat again. I had some slight nauseau on Friday but forced myself to eat and I didnt vomit, but then Sat and Sun I was fine. I'm beginning to think it was just a bug. A lot of people at work have been sick and I think I might have caught it and maybe I didnt get as bad because of my vitamins??
I dont know...but I feel normal again.
Lauren- you have a new place you have to "christen"!! All those new rooms need to see some action! I say you put on a hockey jersey and nothing else.
As for my plans- no clue. I want to drag hubby out for dinner, but most likely will not have a sitter. I want to go to The Tavern on Main in Chepachet (very local for me), as it is one of the most haunted places in RI- also Valentines Day is when one of the ghosts is most active- heard crying a lot and so many other things happen too. I know it isn't very romantic- but sounds cool to me!! Most likely kids will come along for the fun too.
Lau...you are too much!
As for me and my boyfriend...we are going out this weekend. We both work on V-Day til 8 pm so that doesnt leave much time to do anything afterwards. My boyfriends birthday is on Monday so I have to get ready for that as well!
We will probably do dinner and a movie and the go home and... then go to bed!
Happy Day!
