Hi Patti,

Maybe you can stick to the bake foods(not sweets) and space yourself.  If it's baked chicken maybe you can pull the skin off and eat that, maybe you can drink water instead of the soda (just some ideas).  All the best for tomorrow.  My family is having a superbowl party to.  I was able to get the things I know is good for me.   This will be a real test of my strength regarding making good food choices.

Pattie

I have found it is mind over matter! BUT at those times when the kids are eating the junk that I used to eat I have a sugar free popsicle IT ALWAYS WORKS FOR ME and just keep on sipping water. I have a bottle with me at all times. Or if you are having trouble get up and do something productive or get out for some fresh air and take a walk!

I also put a few pictures of my thinner days (high school days) on the fridge and in my room to remind me of that is who I want to be!

You are welcome Patti!

I have found that by doing other things it takes my mind off of food! The hardest thing is cooking for the family and not sitting down and eating it with them! Well it is worth it in the long run!
