Not rescheduled yet! Caution...RANT!

Don't they get it? The biggest thing in my life. Four days and I haven't heard word one. Do they bump someone else or fit me in somehow? How does this work? I wouldn't want anyone else to feel the ****iness of being bumped. This reschedule better happen within the next week and half. I am a teacher. I had spent time making lesson plans for two weeks. I had a sub who committed to me and didn't take other jobs, I have a plane ticket to Vail for March and have committed to teaching skiing, like I used to for 7 years. If they don't reschedule for the next week I will be out lots of money in potential income. Okay.......I'm a little better now, afterall, Dr. Roye didn't want to get sick. I just want a new date!

Oh dear! It can be absolutely teeth chomping, waiting for the new date. I hope you get it soon! I have an appointment with Dr. Roye tomorrow... Does this mean I go and he won't be there? They haven't canceled yet. I would think that it would be nice to actually see and meet the doctor BEFORE surgery... I haven't had that pleasure yet.  Anyways, Good Luck!! ~Dawn

I'm so sorry you havent been rescheduled yet Sara. Have you called the office yet to see how they will handle it? Good Luck, Hopefully you will know more soon.

Sara - I feel your pain.  I had been scheduled for my surgery 11/29/07 and did the prep the day before - my husband and I arrived at 6 am as instructed only to be pulled aside and told that Dr. Roye's wife was in labor and he wouldn't be doing surgery that day (not that I could blame him lol).  I called the next day - nothing... called the following Monday - nothing... I insisted on them figuring out the schedule immediately as I too had my life on hold.  I finally was told on Monday afternoon that I "might" be able to have my surgery Thursday the 6th and if not then it would be the following Tues or Thurs.  I ended up having my surgery on the 6th of December Call them - make sure they know you're waiting!!! Have you called the office?  What did they say?

I would definately try a call to the office- be very nice, but stress your point

Kathleen called me on Tuesday, due to a UTI showing up in my test, and she said that Dr. Roye wouldn't be in the office until today (Friday).  He must have been really sick. So I would call today to see what you can get out of them.
