Hi Everyone! First let me start out by apologizing for not posting this thread lately....this week (and last) have been crazy at work and I didnt have any time to come online! I work for Bank of America and they announced last week that my department would be relocating to join our other teams in Jacksonville FL..... I thought for a split second about going to FL because they are offering a relocation package.... but then I decided against it. I know I know...I probably should go. So, we are closing in April and now it seems like we are busier than ever!

Anyhow.... Here is the damage for today:

B - Chocolate Protein Shake...(had to choke it down )

S - 20 Whole Grain Goldfish

L - 3 slices of lunchmeat ham and a Dannon Carb and Sugar control Yogurt

D - Small homemade hamburger (no bun) w/ ketchup, mustard and relish

So, lets hear it....how was your eating today?

Hi Angela...yes I will be able to transfer to another department, but I currently work in a specialist group, so its not going to be the same...but I am sure that something will work out. It just sucks when you find a job that you really like and then its gone

The next support group meeting is coming up soon...will you be there?

Ugh, so sorry Lauren. I know how it is when you love a job and then end up moving departments, so I wish you the best.  Yes, I will be at the meeting next Thursday. Those meetings really help keep me on track and I love hearing the personal stories and questions. I kind of wish they happened more often! EDIT: OMG Lauren, I just noticed you've lost 100! Thats fantastic! You must be so excited and happy., I know I cant wait to reach that 100 mark.

Hey Angela! I too wish the meetings were more often...I really enjoy going and being around people who understand me. I feel so comfortable there and its nice to know a group of people who are going through the same things as me. I look forward to seeing the difference in everyones appearance every month!

I've wanted to go to the RI Hospital support groups, but dont want to go alone since I didnt have surgery there.

Oh - the weight loss is great! I am thrilled at my progress and cant wait to see what else is going to happen! As of today I have lost 105 lbs. Still have a long way to go but Im getting there!

I've thought about going to RI also. We could always plan to go together if you like.  I've also thought about inviting people off here over to my house once a month, just an informal get together meeting and we could do pot luck or healthy snacks or something. Hubby is up for it and said it would be nice. What do you think, sound like something you'd be interested in?

What a huge difference the bullet makes in the daily protein.  I need to try them. Jen

They really have been my savior Jen . I mix 1/2 with a little water and sprinkle some crystal light in to flavor them because I cant stand the taste of the bullet alone, its way too sweet for me. They are a bit expensive $3-$4 each, but I just havent been able to do protein drinks since surgery and these seem to be the easiest for me. I've been getting the New Whey protein bullet from GNC and its 42g. Unfortunately, They dont carry them in Fall River ,so I get them in Dartmouth at the mall there. If you have trouble finding them and want to try one let me know, I'll pick up some extra Friday or perhaps I'll order a case, who knows.  Either way, it would make a good excuse to  see you again and see how skinny you're getting!
