Hi, I had heard way back when about a "dinner card" that you can get to show to personnel at restaurants that allow you to order from the kid's menu.  Does anyone know anything about it?

The card doesn't allow anything.  It is a way to ask without explaining.

We went to Chili's last night to celebrate my daughter's birthday.  I had printed the card out that is on this site  but decided to just tell the waiter I had had stomach surgery (didnt' get into what kind) and that I needed to order a small portion - was it ok if I ordered from the children's menu.  He said absolutely - funny thing was I couldn't even finish the child's portion  lol I had no trouble with not having birthday cake either - I don't know this new person I'm becoming  lol Pam
