BITTERSWEET NEWS!

Hello everyone. I've come to give you an update on myself. I sure hope all is well for every body and a healthy and smooth recovery to the newest Losers! Recently I have been spending an awful lot of time in the hospital with my father-n-law, for he had fallen ill and it's quite rapid. Last night, we received the news of pancreatic cancer and it was very horrible to hear. He is a good man. We are all ok. Thats the Bitter News. Now for a taste of the SWEET!     I'VE BEEN APPROVED TODAY!!!  WOOT WOOT!!! My emotions are flipping back and forth, but i'm doing good! MAKE ROOM CHICKIES AND BOY'S, CAUSE I'MA COMING!! ~Dawn~

First off, I am sorry to hear about your father-in-law.  My mother-in-law passed away September of 2007 and I was extremely close to her.  You and your family are in my prayers.

Hurray!!!!!!!!!!!!! You've been approved  and from what I heard at the two meetings I attended you did not give up when they kept telling you no.   Your perseverance paid off.

Thank you so much for your prayers Robin. I too am very close to my father-in-law. Hooray for me! LOL  Yes, I fought the insurance over and over again, last denial was Nov of 2007. Made sure all the last of my tests were done BEFORE end of December, so the fools that denied me, paid for them. Switched insurance Jan 1, 2008. Approved this morning. Thank you :) My appointment with Dr. Roye is next Friday, January 18th. ~Dawn~

You were smart to get the test done from the old insurance company.  At least they paid for something!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great news about you!  Not so great about your father in law.  How is your husband doing?  Its a shame he won't see you thin.  Good luck with your appointments. Leslie

Dawn,  I'm so sorry about your father in law, please let me know if theres anything I can do for you, I can listen almost as well as I can talk! Now....about your approval-- WOOOOHHHHOOOOOOOOO!! I literally screamed YES and jumped in my seat when I read it, good thing theres noone around to know how nuts I am! I am so excited for you!!!! I know how much you want this and you've gone through so much to get this all done. I'm saving you a seat of honor on the bench, you deserve it more than anyone I know Let me know if you need anything! and definately tell us when your surgery is scheduled for

Dawn, I'm so sorry about your FIL..my thoughts are with you and your family. As for your approval, Congrats!!! I know you've been through alot but you've stayed strong and never gave in. You're on your way girl.....

I'm so sorry to hear about your father-in-law - I wish you and your family well in this difficult time. Congrats on your approval, it has been such a long and frustrating journey for you! I'm definitely making room for you on the loser's bench!

Dawn I am so sorry about your father-in-law.  But I am very happy to hear about your approval.  It has been a very long road for you.  I am glad you never gave up.  We have been saving you a spot on the loser bench because we knew you would be joining us.  YEAH!!! 

Dawn, I am very sorry to hear about your father in law.  I wish your family all the best.  I lost my Dad last Feb. and it has been a really hard year.  I know what you and your husband are going through, he was sick for a long time.  I pray that there is something they can do to help him be comfortable and give him the peace he deserves...
