Liquid vitamins - HELP
Hi Kim!
The 1 liquid vitamin that I took was B-complex and I found it at GNC. Everything else I take and have taken from the beginning has been chewable and they have stayed down fine. I take the Caltrate chewable +Vitamin D (fruit flavors and they taste good), Centrum Multi Vitamin Chewable (Orange Flavor is the best) and now I take swallowable B-complex, B-12 and Prilosec (per Dr Giovanni).
Hope this helps!

Hi Kim!
I havent taken the liquid vitamins, but during the pre-op I did the flintstones with iron and the viactiv thinking I would continue them after surgery. However, post op i couldnt seem to stand the flintstones and the viactiv just wouldnt go down for me so I changed over to the Optisource that they sell in Dr Pohls office. You take 4 of them a day, they are chewable and taste like an orange creamsicle and take the place of the others. I also take a prescription (ameprazole-like Previcid) that Dr Pohl prescribed in the hospital and a super b Complex that I picked up at Walmart. I'm able to take pills without a problem.
If you want, I have flintstones and viactivs you can have, that way if you cant handle them you're not out any money. I can also give you a few optisource to try if you'd like. Just let me know!
Hows the liquid diet going??
Hi Angela!
Happy New Year!
Thanks for the info - I have the flintstones in the house - my younger son takes them so I am all set on those!
The liquid diet is okay now - at first the milk was bothering me so now I am taking lactous tablets and I am okay with it! I just can't wait for the 9th!
Soon to be "L'l Kim"!
