Awesome Marisa,

I will keep you in my prayers for a safe surger and a speedy recovery.   I was told by the nutrionist not to drink the connation instant breakfast, because to the sugar content.   I just purchased at Stop and Shop slim fast meal replacements (french vanilla and strawberries and cream)but have not tried them.  Leave a space for me on the losers bench.

Yeeaaaaaa!!!! for you.  The Carnation is good they have a sugar free variety.  I found that some of the shakes can be very thick and hard to get down.  Adding ice makes them taste better.  Good Luck.

Congratulations and Best Wishes!!!!!!! Not that I've used it for the WLS surgery or anything but I've had the SF carnation and those are pretty good. Also, I've had another one called Advantedge (sp?). There is a carb control one that is very low sugar and has, I believe, 17 gr of protein. It's a premixed shake that I've found at Stop & Shop and at Walmart. I've only had the chocolate ones, but I found they were better then some other shakes. I have these shakes sometimes for breakfast because I'm not always good about making the time for anything else.

Congrats Congrats!!! I know for the pre-op liquid diet Dr Pohl required nothing milk based.  For that, I went with the ones in the office.  I would recommend the Wild Berry...didn't care for any of the other flavors.  Now I typically do the Carnation, pre-mixed..
